At last, a bit of wind on the weekend!! My first proper windsurfing session for what feels like ages. Quite glad to have a steady day before the Autumn SW'ers kick in!
Two other guys sailing much further down the beach who were looked underpowered. Rigged up my biggest kit and hoped for the best. Never overpowered but never dropped off the plane either so fun sailing all round. Not really any waves but got one reasonable jump in close to the shore despite the big kit.
Surfers and kayakers were struggling to catch any waves so it was quite satisfying blasting around the place. Kind of almost managed to get back on the board after a body drag. I was still just about moving forward at the time but a long way from the plane!
Fingers crossed for next weekend. Might head to Rhossy if that sunday forecast comes true.
